Day 1: Welcome to Russia

Arrival to Moscow. You will be met, greeted, and escorted to the centrally located 5* hotel for check-in.

Day 2: Moscow

After breakfast, enjoy the tour of Moscow. Explore Red Square with St. Basil’s Cathedral, ride Moscow metro with the stations that are more likely to be underground museum. Be impressed by the grandeur of Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a stunning view of Moscow standing on the Sparrow Hills, Moscow University, and other historical sites. After lunch visit the Kremlin, the former residence of the Russian Tzars. In the evening, board the Imperial Russia Train. Enjoy your dinner and get to know your travel companions.

Day 3: Kazan

Upon arrival in Kazan, join the city tour. Explore the White Kremlin of Kazan. Enjoy the spectacular folklore program. Taste local food and get to know the secrets of Tatar cuisine. In the afternoon board the train and continue your trip.

Day 4: Yekaterinburg

Today we arrive in Yekaterinburg. Visit the Memorial Church on the Blood to commemorate the tragic death of the last Russian Emperor and his family. Make a selfie with the stone that marks the borderline between Europe and Asia. Take the chance to be in both continents at the same time. In the evening, board the train.

Day 5: Novosibirsk

Arrive in Novosibirsk. Take a city tour to explore the capital of Siberia. Visit the museum of the legendary Trans-Siberian road. After lunch, take a stroll along the embankment of the Ob river, main squares and streets of the most Soviet city on our itinerary. Take a picture of the monumental Opera House which is known as the biggest theater building in this country.

Day 6: Relax onboard

Your train keeps traveling through Siberia. Spend your time having a drink at the bar with your fellow travelers, join lectures, or stay in your cabin and follow the changing scenery. Wooden houses, birch forests and sun rays over mountain landscapes will greet you.  Enjoy the relaxing day in anticipation of the next stop!

Day 7: Irkutsk

Today we arrive in Irkutsk. See the picturesque wooden houses, visit the Decembrists’ House that will unfold the story of failed uprising of Russian aristocracy who were exiled to this city. After lunch visit an open-air museum located on the river bank of Angara. Get to know about the daily life of the people in this region in the past. Spend some free time strolling through Irkutskaya Sloboda before boarding your train.

Day 8: Lake Baikal

After breakfast, board a motor ship to sail on the waters of the Baikal Lake to the village of Listvyanka. Visit the unique museum of flora and fauna of the Lake. Not to be missed is the observation point at the Cherssky Stone with a stunning view on the Lake and the Angara river. After a visit to a local market, the journey continues along the original route of the Trans-Siberian Railway for several hours directly along the shore. Your train will stop at a particular spot for you to enjoy the majestic lake and a barbeque dinner.

Day 9: Ulan-Ude

Today we stop in Ulan-Ude, the capital of Buryatia. A special spiritual experience is a visit to an active datsan. Be a guest to the locals who will welcome you in a traditional yurt. Learn to cook “pozy”, play dice, wear traditional costume, and assemble yurt. Another perspective on the Buryats’ culture is a colorful and spectacular folklore program for you to enjoy. Then continue your voyage to the Far East.

Today enjoy one more leisure day while we are traveling through the beautiful landscapes of the Russian Far East.

We spend our last full day onboard and approach the most eastern point of our journey. Join the lectures with our expert guides and enjoy the entertaining programs.

Day 12: Khabarovsk

Today you arrive in Khabarovsk and join the city tour. After lunch, take a boat ride along the Amur River that forms a natural border of Russia and China. Enjoy the views of the city and entertainment on the boat. Later, take part in the workshop to create your own Russian souvenir. Bring home your own Matreshka.

Day 13: Vladivostok

Congratulations! You’ve made it. After a 9000 km journey you’ve reached the final destination – Vladivostok. This city is the home base of the Russian Pacific military fleet. Free access was given to visitors only in 1992. Enjoy the bay view, check out the historic sites and capture the refreshing spirit of the natural surroundings.

Today you check-in to the 5* hotel.

Payment and cancellation conditions:

  • The prepayment is due 5 days upon receipt of the tour confirmation. The prepayment is non-refundable. The prepayment shall amount to:
    • $1500 – per person in 1st Class compartment;
    • $1900 – per person in Business Class or VIP compartment;
  • Full payment is due 60 days prior to departure.
  • Cancellation of a confirmed reservation 60 days prior to departure is subject to penalty at the rate of 50 % of the tour price.
  • Cancellation of a confirmed reservation 30 days prior to departure is subject to penalty at the rate of 100% of the tour price.

VIP Class compartments

This type of car consists of 5 passenger compartments for double or single use. Berths: one upper, one lower one. A table with an armchair. An LCD TV set. An inbuilt closet for clothes and luggage. A private en-suite water closet with a shower booth, a washbowl and a toilet. An individual air conditioner for heating and cooling the cabin. 
VIP cars have two-seat compartments with an area larger than two ordinary ones. A compartment has a comfortable transformable sofa and a foldaway upper berth.

     

 

Business Class compartments

This type of car contains 6 compartments. There are two berths in every compartment: a sofa that transforms into a semi-double bed 120 cm wide, and the upper berth of 90 cm, a chair, and a folding table.

All compartments are equipped with a private en-suite bathroom with a washbasin, toilet and wet shower. An individual air conditioner for heating and cooling the cabin.

 

1st Class compartments

This type of car consists of 8 passenger compartments. In each compartment there are 2 lower berths, a table, an LCD TV set. In compartment 9 there is a shower booth with a washbowl. Two water closets: in the beginning and the end of the car. The air conditioning system is general.
