Day 1: Welcome to Tallinn

Arrival in Tallinn. You will be met, greeted and escorted to your hotel.

Day 2: Tallinn - Riga

In the morning join the city tour of the picturesque Old Tallinn. Walk its narrow streets and view the beautiful merchants’ houses exemplifying the best of Gothic architecture. Visit New Synagogue. Then continue with the Song Festival Grounds, St. Brigittes monastery and Pirita area. On the way to Riga visit Sigulda and Turaida. Experience a genuine whiff of the Middle Ages, a time of romantic legends, castles and heroic figures, visiting the ruins of the 13th-century. Travel down into the river valley, enjoy the landscape and the walk to the sandstone grottoes on the ancient river bank. Visit the Turaida Museum Reserve. It is the historical center of Turaida and comprises archeological, historical and art monuments dating back to the 11th century. Upon arrival in Riga check-in to your hotel and enjoy the dinner.

Day 3: Riga

After breakfast get acquainted with the history of the city and enjoy medieval houses, the Dome, the Black Head’s House, and the buildings of Big and Small Guilds – architectural landmarks of Gothic, Baroque and Renaissance. Drive through the city center along the boulevards enjoying the view of the City Canal parks, the Bastion Hill, and the Powder Tower. Continue to Art Nouveau area, once home to many of Latvia’s most famous artists, writers, and scholars. Discover Jewish Riga with Moscow district in suburbs of Riga – traditional Jewish area. View the place of former Great Choral Synagogue. Visit Riga Central Market and Ghetto museum. Finish this day with the visit to Riga Jewish Community house. The Riga Jewish Community has celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2008. Nowadays, it is the biggest community in the Baltics with more than 8 thousand members.

Day 4: Riga - Rundale - Hill of Crosses - Kaunas - Vilnius

After breakfast, depart to Kaunas. On the way visit the Rundale palace – the most magnificent masterpiece of baroque architecture in the Baltic States. Then stop at the Hill of Crosses and arrive in Kaunas – the second-largest city in Lithuania. Walk the streets of the Old Town, visit the Synagogue, Slobodka – traditional Jewish suburbs of Kaunas and ghetto during Second World War. Visit 9th fort museum. In the evening arrive in Vilnius and check-in to your hotel.

Day 5: Vilnius

In the morning join the city tour of Vilnius. The Old Town, which is included to the UNESCO World Heritage List, looks like a maze of small streets. Visit Old Jewish quarter: narrow streets and courtyards of the middle-age Ghetto, the territory to the street named after the famous “Vilnius Gaon”, one of the most influential rabbinic authorities since the Middle Ages, and the Great Vilna Synagogue. Have the tour of the Panerial Memorial Museum. It is located just 16 kilometers from Vilnius city center. The Paneriai Memorial Museum was opened in 1960 in the place of the mass massacre. According to various sources, the number of people killed there was up to 100 000, most of them were Jews, together with Poles, Russians, and Romani people. Further travel to Trakai to view the beautiful castle.
